Don’t miss the chance to sample the delectable cuisine of French Chef Hervé Frerard, available only until the end of this week (July 1) at dinner at Singapore’s excellent bistro wine bar Ginett. One of Thailand’s most recognized culinary stars, Chef Frerard has been delighting diners with his seasonal dishes for years at his Aldo’s restaurant in Bangkok. As guest chef at Ginett for this week, Chef Frerard will be offering some of his popular creations, including the extraordinary Slow Cooked Organic Egg, a delicious blend of egg, caviar and smoked potato. This is a lick-the-plate-clean dish that will have you immediately planning your next visit. Other specialties available this week include a soft fragrant poached Wild Cod Fish, served with Jerusalem artichoke in a root vegetable bouillon, a robust and tender Milk-fed Veal Fillet, served with green pea puree and fresh mint and a delicious Roast Duck Breast, cooked in Malt whisky and served with grilled carrots and a spicy onion ginger compote.
Ginett provides the ideal venue for Chef Frerard’s simple ingredient-led cuisine. With its modern bistro décor and relaxed atmosphere, it offers great value for money for both its food and wine list, with a host of French wines available at $6 a glass.
